I have followed a pagan path for 16 years so when I first read about the Seasons in Avalon Witch School I thought that it was going to be just another online school that taught the same basics that you could find in a variety of books at your local
bookstore - boy was I WRONG!!

Victoria David Danann has done it again! She never ceases to amaze me. Victoria takes you on a journey and it is a journey like no other. She doesn't just give you Wiccan correspondences and she doesn't just tell you to do this spell or that spell
NO she gives you the hidden secrets of Witchcraft. The how's and why's of magick. She gives you the "secrets" behind the Craft and does so in an open and loving way.

This school is not for the faint of heart. If you want to learn what real magick is then this is the course for you. If you're ready to grow as a person, as a witch and magickally then this course is for you. If, however, you're looking for a title
(like High Priestess/Priest etc.) then do not bother. Nobody can give you something that you already have within!

In the first year you learn the in's and out's of magick and build a foundation for all of your future workings. You not only get the basics you truly get a solid foundation to stand on for the remainder of your "magickal" life, including the most important of all lessons in magick, the ultimate secret to successful magick!"

The second year brings you more advanced magick. Some you may be interested in and some you may not but the bottom line is that you will have the tools to use them as you grow if and when you choose to. One of the beautiful things about this course is that you are never forced to believe or do anything that does not resonate within your soul. You are not given an bunch of dogma to deal with
you are truly given the beauty of magick and the how-to's.

This is truly a work at your own pace course. You do not have "homework" to turn in, you are not accountable to anyone but yourself. You can work on the course when you are ready and will find yourself anticipating your next lesson with enthusiasm and a deep desire to learn more.

If I have any complaints about this course it is that there is no interaction with the other students so you will not be forming any bonds with other like minded individuals (This changes in the 3rd year which is what I am just beginning). This is done intentionally but I have yet to figure out why. I understand that you are working on an inner journey but sometimes knowing that you are not alone would be a wonderful "extra" and in my opinion would only enhance the course in many ways.

The format in which the course is offered is universal. All of the lessons are in a pdf file and you also have a condensed version in an mp3 format. I highly recommend if you decide to enroll in Seasons in Avalon Witch School that you purchase the Seasons of the Witch Calendar and The Primer - Seasons of the Witch Companion.

I have not completed the course beyond the second year yet but surely plan to continue with the lessons. I highly recommend Seasons in Avalon Witch School to anyone interested in learning true magick!
