PRIMER Seasons of the Witch Companion Guide

O
ver the years I have read many pagan books.  Some of them you will eventually see reviewed here but for being a "Primer" this book brings full impact.  Victoria David Danann has a talent for laying out the bottom line and doing it without having to try and confuse you.  There is no fluff to this book.  It gets down to the nitty gritty and does so with a highly engaging style.  You actually feel as though Victoria is sitting there teaching you.

If you have ever wanted to know the basis for magick or even what the foundation for witchcraft is then I highly recommend you get this book.  It not only goes over the basics it gives you an understanding of what witchcraft is about.  It is simple yet very powerful.

If you have bought any of the
Seasons of the Witch planners and haven't bought this book then you are missing out on the foundation for the planner by not having this book.  I have read it at least 3 times and I find something new each time I read it.

This book goes hand in hand with both the planners that are available through
7th-House as well as the Seasons In Avalon Witch School .  It will become a comfortable companion throughout your magickal workings as well as a lifetime companion as you grow as a witch.

If I have any complaints about this book there would only be one and that would be that there are a few places where the editing needed to be more thorough as some sentences repeat themselves and some words run together.  This issue may have been resolved by now as I have the Second Edition First Printing of the book.  It doesn't detract from the content of the book at all but for me, personally, it is annoying.  My annoyance aside the book is definitely a gem worth buying.

I give this book 4 hats.
