Celebration of the Mother of Air. The shortest day of the
year meaning it is also the longest night of the year. Also known as Winter
Solstice. Beginning of winter. We go deeper within ourselves - a form of
hibernation. Within this path searching within is a key. We take the time during
this season to look within and get to know ourselves, release the items that no
longer serve us and start working on those attributes that we want to bring into
our lives. Just as the world outside is covered in snow and all seems desolate
so do our souls at this time of year. We are going within to become renewed at
Imbolc.
