Off Beaten Path

Day by day
Life goes by, time slips away
So show me the way
Where the rivers run full
The sun shines bright
The moon is full
And life goes by without giving way
To hurt and heartache
Where only laughter and joy fill the air.
Show me the way to self love
Show me the way to completion
Give me the peaceful silence only found outside of the mainstream noise...where you can hear a bird sing, the wind howl or the leaves rustle as a gentle breeze stirs.
Make me whole, repair my heart.
Show me the off beaten path back to me. Make the drums beat again so I can once again move freely and wholly. Bring me love, bring me laughter, bring me life filled with passion. Touch my world with your magickal hand bringing only what you can bring. Sing your song, dance your dance, make the world whole again. Show me the way to the off beaten path that has been created for only me to walk. Come hold my hand, fill my heart with love and compassion for those who have less than me. Make me a beacon of light for those living in darkness. Bless my world with your presence. Make me whole and show me the off beaten path once again.
