"October
Rain"
An October rain
Follows me
now
Bringing forth tears
Like a shower.
I wish i could
Let go the
pain.
But it returns strong,
Again and again.
I fear the truth
It
keeps me here
A memory of the past
Both loving and
sincere.
For you see a day
Months ago
I had a dream,
My
dad was going home.
It wasn't a state,
Or state of mind.
It was his
passing
It was his time.
But now today
It lingers still
Could i have
changed
God's given will?
If ever a time
That i wish i
could
It was then
Where my father stood.
He came to me
With my
mothers help.
He told me he was leaving
I woke up and yelled.
That was
the last
I saw my father.
He is with my mom
They've never looked
happier.
