"Living in Shadows”

I shall not weave the sorrows of yesterday,
For I am welcoming my life today.

I may hide in shadow to find the light,
But my soul dances with true delight.

A magickal life calls beckoning me,
As the candle’s light has set me free.

It matters not if I am alone,
For in my heart true magick is known.

Others would curse me, scoff and scroll,
Their angry words on the air would howl.

So within the secrets of shadows and night,
A Witch is born for that which is right.

In solitary magick I shall be,
Until my life can set me free.

From the candles light long shadows fall,
And within the darkness I find all.

Today I shall be joyful and have no sorrows,
For my dreams and hopes flow in my tomorrow's.

Living in shadows, secrets or light,
I embrace who I am and let my soul take flight.
